Island Air has served the Golden Isles since 1962. The company was originally started by Buddy Culver (Culver Heating and Air) and has always been family owned and operated. We are a certified dealer for both Trane and Lennox.
Our present owner, Allan Smith, has over 40 years in the HVAC and refrigeration business. He purchased into the company in 1995 and became full owner in 2001. He alone set the bar as to what an air conditioning and heating company should provide.
We pride ourselves in the knowledgeable employees we have, the brands of equipment we sell and the services we provide for our customers. We service all brands of air conditioning and heating equipment including geothermal products. We also sell and service dehumidifiers. Our technicians are on call 24/7 and we offer same day service to all our customers. Our stockroom, warehouse and service vans are fully stocked. We also offer preventative maintenance contracts. We believe proper maintenance is of paramount importance for your cooling and heating systems to operate efficiently and promotes unit longevity.
